FACE2FACE LESSONS

Who can join? How does it work?

It is a small cooking class of 5 participants max. All cooking levels are welcome, ask as many questions as you like. Cooking tips, full explanation of the ingredients will be given during the lesson. Every student will be fully equipped (with a personal cooking station) so we do everything together at the same time. All ingredients, aprons and recipes will be provided. It is totally hands on and dishes are made from scratch. The participants will eat their creation during the class.

A typical class will be structured as follows:

11:00-11:30 Introduction to flavour balancing, where to buy ingredients, overview of the recipes

11:30-14:00 Cooking time and eating as each meal is freshly prepared (no cleaning required)

By the end of the lesson the students will be able to understand how taste buds work, how to balance Southeast Asian flavours, just like head chefs. They will be able to recreate dishes back at home and shop with ease in an Oriental supermarket.

How to make a booking?

Simply buy your tickets straight away on the ticket page. We will email your booking details very quickly (please check your junk mail too). Your booking is secured when payment is completed. You can look at our calendar to see what menu has been chosen.

How to choose a menu?

The whole class learns the same set menu. The first person who makes a booking can choose the set menu for the whole class (please see our calendar), other people can join too. However feel free to book a different date if you would like to learn a specific menu. Private classes can pick and choose three dishes from different menus.

Why set menus?

Set menus are carefully planed to guarantee a flavour balance between the 3 dishes. It gives a complete overview of Southeast Asian ingredients. If there are 3 dishes that you wish to learn, we are more than happy to accommodate if you book a private class.

What happens if I am the only student in a class?

A class will take place even with one student. If this happens do not worry there is plenty to keep you busy during the full 3 hour session.
